Privacy information
StrandMetrics is a personal photographic record of scalp and hair photographs you capture or import, together with Hair Check information needed to store and compare those photographs.
What we store when you use Hair Check
- Scalp and hair photographs you upload or capture
- Associated Hair Check information (for example date, region, and capture notes)
- Account details you provide (email)
- Optional treatment diary entries you enter
- Optional research preference, if you make one
- If you join StrandMetrics Pro Early Access: email, country, phone make/model, platform, optional interest answers, and a record that you asked to be emailed about beta invitations and availability
StrandMetrics Pro Early Access
The waitlist exists so we can email you about Early Access, beta invitations, and Pro availability. That contact consent is separate from Terms, Phone Hair Check photo-record processing, and optional research preference.
To stop those waitlist emails, use Leave Pro Early Access. That marks the list entry as declined. It does not delete a Hair Check account or stored photographs. We do not currently send automated marketing emails; removal is recorded so you are not treated as a contact for beta or availability messages.
Purpose
The consumer product purpose is your personal photographic record and comparison functionality. It is not a medical diagnosis.
How we use this information
We use account and Hair Check information to provide the service you request: storing photographs, showing History and comparison, and keeping the settings you choose. Optional research use is recorded only if you make that choice. Early Access contact uses the consent you give when you join the waitlist.
Processors
Hosting, authentication, and file storage are provided by third-party processors needed to operate the service.
Your controls
Signed-in users can open Settings → Privacy & Data to withdraw future photo-record processing (without automatically deleting existing photographs), delete a Hair Check, export a JSON copy of application data, or request account deletion. Early Access waitlist removal is at Leave Pro Early Access and does not require a Hair Check account.
